Orientation at Clemson is truly an incredible experience and one that provides incoming students with a lot of the information needed to transition into the Clemson family. We offer a number of different sessions for freshmen and transfers over the course of the summer. The Orientation link above will lead you to our website.

Getting around Clemson is pretty easy if you know what you're doing. Clemson Area Transit Busses (or the CAT bus) exist as the largest free transit system in the United States. The bus system has a number of different routes that include off campus housing complexes as well as neighboring cities. They also offer a free shuttle service to the three closest airports, Atlanta, Charlotte and Greenville.

The Academic Success Center at Clemson is an incredible resource for students to utilize for out of the classroom learning. This brand new building is home to our writing center, student disability services, and a number of tutoring options including something supplimentary instuctors or SI's.

From 6:30PM to 6:30AM each day of the week, Clemson offers something called Tiger Transit. Tiger Transit opperates as a free taxi service around campus at night. Although Clemson has  a very safe campus and two police departments, this provides an excellent, safe option for getting across campus at night.
